October is Campus Sustainability Month! To celebrate, we would like you all to participate in the Greening the Orange Challenge which challenges you to make a sustainable difference in your day to day actions. This challenge is open to all students, faculty and staff on campus. Follow the steps below on how to compete:
For week one of the #GreeningtheOrange Challenge we will start easy! Carry a reusable water bottle with you everyday! Don't forget to post your picture with #GreeningtheOrange!
This week is all about local! Whether you shop local, eat local, or make your own, show them off!! Now is your time to brag and help support your local economy. Be sure to tag #GreeningtheOrange in order to win!
Bring your old textiles to OCRRA's textile event! What a great way to donate your clothes or put them to good use if they can't be worn again! Learn more about the event by visiting, ocrra.org/events/textile-drop-off-event/. Snap a picture while you're there and be sure to tag #greeningtheorange!
In order to take care of the planet, you have to also take care of yourself! For this week's challenge, you do you! Meditate, take a nap, participate in some yoga with Students of Sustainability! Whatever it may be, let us know with #Greeningtheorange!
