Need an Internship?

We offer internships for credit from all colleges at the University. Students can expand their interest in sustainability topics related to their major while learning about all aspects of sustainability on campus. Whether you are in need of help with a capstone project or are interested in tying sustainability into your major, we can help set up an internship within our department. Falk College

Falk College has worked with Sustainability Management on many projects. Student projects have included research on how plastic impacts human health, how to acquire local food for the campus, and determining what products are sustainable, as well as many others. If you are interested in starting an internship with us, talk to your Academic Adviser.

Newhouse School

Newhouse students help Sustainability Management promote various spring semester events, such as RecycleMania and Earthfest. Students utilize their media knowledge to help shape sustainability messages on campus from a student perspective.

Maxwell School

Students at the Maxwell School enrolled in energy and its impacts, geography, public affairs, and citizenship and civic engagement have worked with Sustainability Management on many programs and completed several sustainability-related surveys. Talk to your Academic Adviser to set up an internship with us!

Youth, Young Adult and Staff positions are open at Onondaga Earth Corps!

Seasonal Young Adult Positions are available through Onondaga Earth Corps that may lead to scholarships through Ameri*Corps. "Our crews often work on a variety of projects, from public outreach and education development, to neighborhood demonstration projects and tree planting programs. Participants will be provided with basic training in environmental and community development- based work. Public presentation and creating materials, such as PowerPoints, videos, brochures, etc., are often requirements of the work, in addition to daily work outdoors in gardens and landscaping settings."
